Understanding the responsibilities with regards to moving your appliances will part of the move planning and coordination prior to move day.
Alto’s movers are not qualified to disconnect high-voltage connections or gas supplies. You will need to disconnect and reconnect all appliances you want your Alto Team to move or arrange for a qualified Technician to do so prior to move day and reconnect after delivery.
Alto can assist you in finding qualified Technicians specific to each unique appliance. We can also work around any Technicians on move day if need be. We’ll be there to move it safely and correctly once its disconnected. Your Alto move coordinator can hire and schedule a Third-Party Technician for your convenience, no problem. If you authorize Alto Moving to do this, it will be added to your Bill of Lading as an additional cost.
